A hoodie knitting pattern

Amelia is intended to be a casual season-spanning garment. Wear it alone during the warmer months, or layer over a tee or long sleeve shirt for the cooler months. Length could easily be added to the bottom hem transforming the top into a tunic or beach cover up.

All the shaping in Amelia occurs on the back half of the garment. What this does is remove excess material where it is not needed along the spine, leaving more stitches on the front of the piece to accommodate bellies and busts. The front portion of the design remains a simple rectangle until the armholes, presenting a clean, uninterrupted line.
