Leafy Greens
Pattern #6 in the Shades of Green Collection

Skill Level: Intermediate

A knit hat pattern

This design gives you a much tastier way of getting your leafy greens than that bitter stuff Mom served you!

Leafy Greens is a semi slouch style hat. If you want your version to come out as a close fitting cap then make sure to knit a size giving you plenty (up to 4”) of negative ease. The leafy patterning of this design gives the hat a lot of stretch. If you look at the charts you’ll see that the stitch count changes as you work the leaves. Because you are adding more stitches to your work you are allowing the hat more room to expand.
