The Pattern
Pattern Tip: I recommend slipping the first stitch of every row as if to purl. This creates a clean edge.
Fringe
Cut several 12” strands in CC Hold two strands together and loop through slipped edge stitch on long side of work. Knot the strands together creating a 4-strand section fringe Work in every other slipped stitch across bottom (long) edge of piece. Once main fringe has been added move to an edge to work second row of knots. Taking two strands from right-hand fringe and two from left-hand fringe make another knot. Proceed across entire piece in this manner. Trim fringes
Sew buttons into place corresponding with button holes. Weave in any loose ends.
